Here you can find some personal words from our newly elected speaker for anti-racism. Please report incidents directly to antira@asta.tuhh.de or visit Sari's office hours.
I would like to thank you for electing me as your representative in the anti-racism department. I am sincerely grateful to all of you who participated in the elections and exercised your right to vote. By voting, you have expressed your concerns and fears about racist acts that may occur at our university.
I wish to create a safe and welcoming space for all students. I and all other AStA members strive to create an inclusive environment that incorporates different cultures and ethnicities. My goal is to ensure that all students feel valued and supported in their academic journey. I assure you that AStA and I are committed to upholding the principles of equity and justice at our university. By working together, we can create an atmosphere where discrimination has no place and where all students can thrive.
Please feel free to contact me at any time at antira@asta.tuhh.de. I am available to listen to you, offer support, and address any concerns or incidents of racism you encounter. Your experiences and perspectives play a critical role in shaping our policies and initiatives. I know it can be intimidating to bring these things up, but it is an important step in creating a more inclusive university environment for all.
Thank you again for your trust and participation in shaping our university's commitment to anti-racism. Together, let's build an inclusive campus where all students feel respected and valued.
Sincerely yours,
Sari Eid
