The Deutschlandticket has been decided for us students for the summer semester 2024. And this means: travel throughout Germany without additional fees!

On 28.02.2024, our student parliament finally decided to conclude the contract for the Deutschlandticket, so that we will receive the Deutschlandticket (or €49 ticket) from the coming summer semester instead of the previous hvv ticket for the entire Hamburg area.

In concrete terms, this means that the Deutschlandticket is already included in the semester fee for the summer semester 2024. This means that the previous hvv ticket will be replaced by the Deutschlandticket.

With this ticket, you can travel throughout Germany on all regional trains and express trains as well as general public transport without additional tickets. IC, ICE and long-distance trains cannot (unfortunately) be used with the Deutschlandticket.

In addition, the ticket is only available digitally. The university will soon announce how you can obtain the ticket.

We will of course keep you up to date on the Deutschlandticket - both here and in our newsletter.

At this point, a big thank you goes to Miora (1st Chair), who has put a lot of work, time and passion into making this ticket possible for all of us.

Good luck with your exams!
