It is a self-contained, web-based prevention program for college students. It was developed by San Diego State University (USA) and is in use at over 600 institutions worldwide. Here it is provided by the TU Hamburg, the AStA of the TUHH, the University of Applied Sciences Esslingen and our prevention partner the health insurance company BARMER within the framework of the cooperation project eCHECKUP - Prevention of risky alcohol consumption among students. made available.
Personalized feedback
From the individual information provided in the first part of the program, eCHECKUP TO GO alcohol generates personalized feedback. This provides information about:
- One's own drinking behavior (including quantity, cost, comparison with other students).
- Personal effects and health consequences of alcohol consumption
- Counseling and health promotion services at the TU Hamburg and in Hamburg
Anonymity and data security
No individual can be identified by means of the data collected through eCHECKUP TO GO-Alcohol, nor is it possible to attribute the data to specific individuals (for more detail, see the Privacy Policy). The eCHECKUP TO GO alcohol is provided by San Diego State University. When you run the program, you leave the servers of the TU Hamburg accordingly.
